Demi-Human is a witty, choice-driven visual novel that you can play instantly in your browser on PC and mobile. Drawing heavy inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons and the anime G.A.T.E., the story is set 50 years after mysterious gates brought fantasy creatures into the modern world. You play as a biracial, highly intelligent, and occasionally unhinged MC who is lucky enough to attend the very first interspecies university. There, you will navigate complex social landscapes, romance various monster girls, and make impactful decisions that could shape how Demi-Humans are viewed by society as a whole.

The game focuses on a diverse cast of love interests—including a snooty elf, a muscular half-orc, a bratty tiefling, and a sweet firbolg—offering varying relationship dynamics that range from vanilla to femdom. While it isn't a strict harem game, you will eventually have to choose your main partner, with your choices heavily impacting the story's direction.

Currently in mid-development, the game has a lot of heart and excellent worldbuilding, though players should be aware of a few rough edges. Reviews note noticeable grammatical and spelling errors throughout the text. Additionally, the solo developer uses AI-generated images for the backgrounds and uses AI as a reference for shading his hand-drawn character sprites, which can sometimes result in inconsistent or "shiny" art. However, the developer is actively redrawing older scenes to improve the overall quality.
