A Neet's Adventure
A Neet's Adventure is a free adult comedy RPG that plays instantly on PC or mobile with no download. Ren has spent eleven months hiding in her apartment and living off her father's allowance. Now he's cut her off, and her landlord, Mr. Pig, still expects his rent. With few skills and absolutely no enthusiasm for employment, she has to venture outside and find something that pays. You manage her time, build stats that affect interactions, and change outfits as she stumbles through odd jobs and embarrassing encounters. The distinctive character art and plenty of otaku references give her predicament a playful feel.
Ren's bad attitude toward work is a fun starting point, especially if you enjoy an adult adventure that can laugh at its own heroine. There's some charm in the unusual characters and their designs, though the game still needs more finished activities to fill its large map. Some systems and side stories feel only partly developed, so expect wandering and rough edges between the better moments. Multiple routes and more events are planned, but the current appeal is getting a taste of Ren's world. If comedy and a reluctant female lead are your thing, her disastrous attempt at independence is worth a look.
