Finding Color in the Ashes

PLAY Finding Color in the Ashes NOW

Finding Color in the Ashes is a browser RPG that gives you a ruined inn to restore and more demands on your time than a single day can hold. Repairs need resources, guests need attention, and the nearby monsters will not deal with themselves. Between those jobs, you can spend time with Lucy, a witch who brings a personal story into the business of rebuilding. The result is a fantasy management RPG about choosing your next priority. Its largely monochrome artwork sets a distinctive scene for a steady cycle of planning, improvement, and dice-based battles.

Give Each Day a Purpose
Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights divide your schedule into useful decisions. You might focus on a job, work toward an inn upgrade, or make room for a character event. Supplies and limited time tie those activities together, while weekend events change the routine. The appeal is in seeing practical goals accumulate as you gradually bring the inn back to life.

Prepare Before You Head Out
Patrols add turn-based combat to the management loop. Weapons, armor, and spells give you things to prepare and improve before facing monsters, with dice adding uncertainty to encounters. Back at the inn, guests and upgrades keep your next project in view. Expect gradual progress and recurring tasks; planning a useful day is a substantial part of the game.

Press Play, start a new game, and follow the prologue before choosing your daily activities. This Godot game may take a little longer to load initially.
