My Goddess
My Goddess begins with the sort of day that makes you want to leave town. A 26-year-old man loses the life he thought was secure, only to find that a transport strike has ruined his escape plans too. He ends up at a hotel bar, where a chance meeting with Edith, a wealthy entrepreneur, offers him a very different way forward. You can follow the story directly in your browser on PC and mobile.
The opening is a good hook. Edith and the other women have lives and troubles of their own, and the game takes time to show why its protagonist might want to stay with them. There are plenty of attractive 3D renders and a surprisingly long story for an early version. This is largely a kinetic novel, though, so you'll spend far more time reading than choosing what happens next.
As the cast grows, the story can lose some of the focus that made its beginning work. Later conversations run long, some scenes feel disconnected from earlier events, and the dialogue swings between thoughtful and awkward. Players also disagree on the animations: some find them smooth, while others notice stiff posing and limited expressions. If you're here for Edith and an easygoing romance with mature women, there's a lot to read; just expect uneven pacing along the way.
