Project Venus
Project Venus is a real-time action horror RPG that you can play instantly in your browser on PC and mobile. Channeling classic survival horror titles like Resident Evil alongside the looting and crafting tension of Project Zomboid, the game casts you as Jillian, an office clerk trapped in the midst of a violent zombie outbreak while searching for her missing sister. After surviving an infection that mutates her into a superhuman rather than turning her undead, she becomes the primary scavenger and protector for a desperate group of survivors.
Unlike typical turn-based adult RPG Maker titles, the game features active directional shooting, inventory weight management, tactical zombie AI, and scavenging across suburban districts, city streets, and barricaded outposts. The visuals rely on custom 2D retro-style sprites during exploration alongside 3D rendered models for animated cutscenes.
Please note that Project Venus is currently in early development. While the combat and exploration provide a genuinely engaging gameplay loop, players should expect occasional pathfinding bugs, unskippable cutscenes, and relatively sparse, straightforward adult scenes that take a back seat to the core action mechanics.
