Devin's Life

Devin's Life is a dark adult visual novel you can play instantly in your browser on PC and mobile. Fresh out of college and top of her teaching class, Devin arrives at St Barthows Finishing Academy expecting a promising first job. Instead, she finds herself surrounded by people willing to exploit her trust. Her story follows the shy new teacher as pressure, blackmail, and public humiliation wear away at the future she imagined.

The game is built around Devin’s thoughts as she tries to make sense of what is happening to her. Choices can affect some scenes and fetishes, but the main story is largely linear; you cannot steer her toward a decisive victory over the people hurting her. Its Honey Select art improves as the story goes, though there are no animated sex scenes.

This is an especially harsh humiliation story, with coercion and sexual abuse rather than a playful BDSM dynamic. Devin gets few breaks, which gives the game its intense niche appeal but can make it upsetting if you want her to fight back. The opening was made in RPG Maker and the later portion in Ren’Py, so the experience changes format partway through.
