Strange App
Nathan is a bartender with a good life, close friends, and no reason to worry about a pastel-colored puzzle app. Then he shares it. In Strange App, the app begins watching its players and quietly changing their desires while its creator, Professor Tanaka, observes the results.
A coin flip determines which group of friends receives the app first: Nathan’s Besties or his Home Squad. The other group remains in the story, but takes longer to draw in. That small difference gives each run a different starting point, and the attractive character models make the gradual changes easy to follow.
The puzzle app is part of the story rather than a puzzle for the player to solve. This is a straightforward VN with adult scenes, plenty of reading, and very little control over events. Its mind control premise is fun, though the repeated daily structure can make progress feel slower than it should.
