Blessings for the Chosen
Caelan was meant to defeat the Demon Lord. He failed. Luckily for him, a goddess is willing to send him to another world for a second attempt at being a hero, though her offer comes with a catch. Blessings for the Chosen follows that uneasy new adventure through its characters, dungeons, and mysteries.
There is more thought in the combat than a typical RPG Maker fight. Combining elements can produce powerful effects, and Caelan’s starting class changes small details in dialogue and scenes. The character art is charming too, while cursed equipment ties some of the adult themes into his journey.
The first release is rough to play. Puzzles and directions can be unclear, bosses hit hard, and ordinary fights use resources without offering much reward. There are also reported bugs and only a handful of adult scenes so far. Its writing and combat ideas make it interesting, but frequent saves are sensible while the game is being polished.
