Class Pet follows Emma, a newcomer with a rare opportunity: graduate from a prestigious school and receive a substantial payout. There's one troubling tradition to survive first. Each year, students vote for a Class Pet, someone placed outside the school's usual rules. Emma can build friendships, deal with classmates trying to undermine her, and work to keep her reputation intact before election day.
It's an intriguing setup because the title sounds like a prize until you learn what it means. Managing Emma's daily life and watching how others react to her reputation gives the early game its pull. The writing and character designs have earned praise, and the story keeps a lighter tone than its bullying premise might suggest.
The current game is still short, and its repeatable events need more variety. More frustratingly, some apparent routes are difficult or impossible to access without cheats, while a strong reputation may still lead to the same election result. If you're hoping to outmaneuver everyone at the polls, the choices don't yet give you much room to do it. There's a promising social drama here, but it needs more events and clearer paths for Emma's decisions to pay off.
