Nightmares of the Moon is a dark, atmospheric adult visual novel and RPG sandbox that you can jump into directly in your browser on PC and mobile. Stepping into the shoes of Luna, an amnesic journalism student arriving in the city of Sitria, you'll balance regular student life with a creeping psychological and supernatural rot gnawing at your sanity.

The game combines free-roam city exploration, part-time jobs, and stat management with a slow-burn corruption storyline. Visually, the characters are rendered using a stylized Honey Select 2 aesthetic backed by remarkably fluid animations. Audio is another standout—the developer composed an original, emotional soundtrack (certified 100% AI-free) paired with surprisingly immersive environmental sound design.

Keep in mind that the game is still in early development. While the dark prologue and horror atmosphere hit hard, you will encounter a few work-in-progress areas, minigames that are still being tuned, and some school dialogue that feels a bit more routine compared to the gripping eldritch plotline.
