The Man Behind begins at an academy where the protagonist can explore, meet characters, and pursue a plan of revenge. What starts with familiar faces gradually opens into a larger story of corruption, temptation, and the question of who is pulling the strings.

There is already a lot to see for a game still in development. The cast is large, the visuals give its scenes plenty of appeal, and the character stories offer reasons to keep exploring. NTR is central to the developer’s vision, although some of that content can currently be avoided.

The sandbox can be frustrating when it gives too little direction. Quest hints are sometimes vague, and it is not always clear which objects or locations can be interacted with. English is also AI translated from the original Traditional Chinese script and may have awkward phrasing. Players happy to explore and experiment will find a substantial start here, but the navigation needs polish.
