Dragon Incarnate

After a rough beginning, the protagonist sets out with a group of companions to uncover the secrets of the dragons. Dragon Incarnate mixes a main story with side quests, companion stories, puzzles, and places to explore between major events.

The game gives players welcome control over their character and relationships. They can choose a male, female, or Yin protagonist, rename them, and complete companion quests without pursuing romance. Adult scenes with Yin characters can also be skipped through an option at the start.

There are attractive character models and a promising fantasy setting, but the current release is still light on things to do. Companion interactions can take too many menu clicks, some quests need clearer guidance, and relationships sometimes move faster than their dialogue supports. The framework is interesting; it needs more story and character moments to fill it out.
