From there, the adventure begins with exploration, turn-based combat, equipment upgrades, resource management, and a growing cast of fantasy women waiting across the map. The game is still early in development, but version 0.1.1 already shows a clear direction. Instead of being only a short scene collection, Ero Initium! is building the systems of a fantasy RPG first. Players can move across a world map, meet waifus, buy and sell equipment, manage gold and resources, equip weapons, and fight through combat encounters while the developer prepares more quests, outfits, characters, and map events for future builds. One of the main hooks is the way Ero Initium! combines adult visual novel progression with RPG structure. The player is not just clicking from one scene to the next. The game wants you to move around the map, gather money, buy better equipment, and slowly open more possibilities in the fantasy world. This gives the early build more long-term potential than a simple linear demo. The shop system is one of the biggest additions in the current release. Diessa is planned as the clothing and outfit seller, Nana can buy resources and equipment you no longer need, and Sarrah works as the weapon and gear seller. The newest build also lets you equip the same weapon twice if you own two copies. The spell does not change, but the stat bonuses from both weapons still apply, which gives the equipment system a useful early RPG twist. The map has also been rebuilt by hand. Earlier development used a different map style, but the new version is designed to better match the rest of the game and make future changes easier. Forest navigation has been adjusted, the dark forest has been moved, the city and market buttons have been redesigned, and several empty spaces remain available for new locations. A second level in the city, currently described as a city center, is also being prepared as a place where people can reunite, relax, eat, and appear in lighter side content. Character progression is still being built, but several names already stand out. Fraka seems to be one of the early favorite girls, Dasha has a house on the map, Diessa is tied to outfits, Nana handles unwanted resources, Sarrah sells equipment, and Olga is planned for a side quest that may change her appearance depending on the outcome. The developer has also mentioned adding more random NPCs so the world feels more alive, even if some of them begin with only short dialogue. Ero Initium! is best for players who enjoy early fantasy projects with visible growth. The current version is not trying to pretend it is already complete. It feels like a foundation build, but that foundation includes combat, shops, map redesign, waifu dialogue, interface improvements, translation fixes, and the first pieces of a broader sandbox structure.
