Knucklebomb follows Lucca and Danielle “Danni” Beren, a couple traveling through the galaxy in search of Lucca's missing brother. Lucca approaches trouble with confidence, spontaneity, and remarkable martial arts ability. Danni provides the plans, technical knowledge, and streetwise caution that keep his impulses from getting them both into even deeper trouble.
Their contrasting personalities make the partnership immediately likable. Lucca is relaxed without being helpless, while Danni's practical nature still leaves room for warmth and humor. He is also a Psyker whose abilities strengthen his body rather than reading thoughts or predicting the future. Combined with Danni's talent for machines and computers, those gifts give the pair several ways to handle whatever they encounter.
The early release favors cheerful science-fiction antics over a tightly defined central mystery. Its direction can feel deliberately hectic, but the clean writing keeps individual scenes moving without becoming overloaded. Character models are attractive and well proportioned, while the setting and audio provide a solid foundation with room for more variety. The cast already feels distinct enough to make this a promising start for readers who enjoy playful space adventures.
