Mirage Rebellion (formerly known as "Mirage's Defection") is a fantasy ADV-style game you can play instantly in your browser on PC and mobile, with no downloads required. You play as Leo, a magically gifted but physically frail noble tasked with guarding a mysterious "Treasure" from the Demon King's forces. But this isn't your typical combat RPG—it's a slow-burn narrative focused entirely on seduction, loyalty, and "Double NTR." Throughout the defense mission, both you and your loyal retainers (like the badass assassin Luna) are constantly tempted by enemy infiltrators.
The game really shines with its fantastic character art and a unique "Two Hearts" system that lets you track the shifting feelings and loyalties of your cast. The story is genuinely gripping, taking place over a tense few weeks with multiple endings that range from pure, wholesome loyalty to total mutual corruption.
However, you should keep your expectations in check regarding the gameplay loop. While built in an RPG engine, it plays exactly like a visual novel or "walking simulator"—you'll spend a lot of time jogging down the same mansion hallways just to trigger the next dialogue. Reviewers also note that while the character designs are gorgeous, the actual sex scenes can lack CG variety, and the gallery room is a bit of a mess. But if you're a fan of story-heavy NTR and watching relationships slowly crumble (or survive!), it’s absolutely worth the playthrough.
