Wasteland Guardians is a post-apocalyptic visual novel you can play instantly in your browser on PC and mobile. After losing his wife, a former Fighter leaves his fortified community to raise his daughter in a cabin beyond the walls. A mysterious note pulls him back into a world of rival factions, dangerous cults, and people willing to do almost anything to survive.
There is a substantial story to follow, with attractive character designs, adult scenes, and choices that can push the protagonist toward kinder or harsher decisions. The ruined world gives the cast plenty of trouble to get mixed up in, while optional minigames and quick-time events add some variety. The game includes graphic violence, coercive situations, and taboo family themes, so its darker content is worth knowing about before you play.
It's still in development. Some dialogue and character decisions can feel at odds with the harsh setting, and later scenes sometimes take control away even when earlier choices suggested another path. If you enjoy a long, gritty adult story and can roll with those uneven moments, there is already plenty here to explore.
