Chilling Ridge
Chilling Ridge is a free adult farming RPG that starts instantly on PC or mobile, with no download needed. A new farmer moves to a mountain town and meets a witch willing to help, provided she gets some favors back. Soon there are monster people to recruit, relationships to build, and dungeons full of turn-based fights. Breeding helps the farm produce more resources, so bringing someone hot home can also be good business. The pixel guys and girls look great, although most lean heavily generic furry rather than looking like monsters.
The farmer gets a few different looks, too, and the original music makes the town a nice place to hang around. Catching and breeding monsters gives the farm more room to grow, with enough management to keep things interesting between dungeon trips. The story is still short, so the breeding system and character art are doing most of the work here.
Getting a mandatory cat should be a simple job. Instead, a drop rate decides whether it takes a couple of fights or a long string of random encounters. The battles aren't exciting enough to make that wait fun. Quest directions also need work, especially when a building stays under construction and the game leaves the farmer guessing whether to keep sleeping or stop playing. There are hot farmhands and a breeding system worth trying, but this early build can make basic progress a chore sometimes so do be warned.
