Minotaur Hotel
A chance encounter leaves the protagonist holding the deed to a magical hotel on a cliff. The building has seen better days, and its caretaker, Asterion, has been there far longer than anyone should have to be. Minotaur Hotel begins with the work of reopening the place, then slowly reveals the story behind the minotaur of Greek myth.
There is something lovely about seeing the hotel come back to life as Asterion begins to open up. Guests bring their own stories, while exploration teams head into the valley for supplies and clues about its past. The writing gives both the humor and the painful history room to breathe.
This is a substantial gay romance VN with hand-drawn furry art and a real interest in mythology. Its branching story may lose some readers later on, but the hotel, its mysteries, and Asterion himself make it easy to get attached.
